A wide variety of extensive training programs to fit everyone's needs

To meet the unique requirements of each of its customers, LTU has developed a structured "Education Services and Support" offering. Streamlined and affordable education programs offer standard as well as customized training courses and support plans.

  • LTU technical expertise in image recognition fields
  • Proven methodologies and industry-best practices
  • Flexible options to meet unique and specific requirements

Our training modules include four parts:

  • Tutorials - provide general and theoretical knowledge of the topic.
  • Drills - to get trained on actual data and on relevant data models.
  • Certifications - a test to validate the knowledge acquired in the chosen modules.
  • Informal practical sessions - practice, ask questions and get answers from LTU experts informally on your own system and data.

Following is a list of our most popular module. Durations range from one to several hours.  Please ask us for more information about our classes - support@ltutech.com

Integration and administration modules

Ref. EDUC 202 System Administration – part I • “Software Installation”

Install or update LTU engine – Configure LTU engine (SSL, etc.) – Basic database configuration – Distributed systems Exercises: Installation standalone or distributed on the same host  – Checking database configuration

Ref. EDUC 303 •  Development and integration  - part I • “Integration with API”

Topics: Presentation of API and SDK available  – Integration guide, API calls (managing entities and search) - Examples of integration by clients  •
Exercises: Development of a call to LTU engine API illustrating client’s needs

Ref. EDUC 203 System Administration – part II • “Support and users management”

Topics: Log files – LTU services management
Exercises: Check log files and understand them - Monitoring reflex and check lists.

Ref. EDUC 102 LTU engine™ Interface Training

This module deals with getting practical knowledge for the daily use of LTU-Engine. It includes training of the browser interface with icons signification, image enrollment, image search (upload, browse, bouncing, thresholding, with metadata…) and data management (create and maintain the content of the database by adding new images, removing obsolete or bad images, checking/updating/removing the meta-data)
Subjects: Image indexation – Enrolment tool – Content search
Exercises: Indexing images – manually and using enrolment tool - Content search (retrieval and bounce)

Algorithm modules

These modules are intended to give a good overview of our algorithms and their limits. They are chosen by customers and resellers who chose to get deeper in the understanding of our technology.

Ref. EDUC 101 Technology basics

It is important for LTU engine users to know advanced facts about the core technology in order to choose the right parameters and optimise search efficiency. This module details the important facts and features of LTU’s technology, in particular regarding LTU image signatures.  It presents a set of practical reference cases illustrating how an accurate content organization and the right algorithmic parameters can optimize the efficiency of LTU engine.
Subjects: How the Technology Works – Cloned, duplicate and similar images  - Cloned quality – Limitations

Ref. EDUC 201 Content Administration

This module provides content administrators with the vital knowledge of LTU Technology. The Training module EDUC101 is recommended.
Subjects: DNA and image similarity – Content organisation (repositories, meta-data) – Segmentation and Colour weights – Quality – analysis and explanation of some specific results
Practical examples: Interactive study of examples on different types of DNAs

Reseller and partner modules

These modules are more specifically intented to give integration and development skills to our re-sellers and partners pre-sales.

Ref. EDUC 301 Pre-Sales  – part I • “LTU Culture and existing solutions”

Topics: Image Seeker global architecture and modules – Clients requirements - Basic Reasoning – Standalone, distributed systems, split or replicated – Standard figures and Benchmarks. •
Practical examples : Interactive study of sizing examples based on hypothetic clients

Ref. EDUC 302 Pre-Sales – part II • “Project Sizing first steps”

Topics: case studies - Historic of the case, steps of the project, difficulties and achievements, Access to POC  when possible.
