What can I look up?

lookthatup basically works as a search engine, but instead of keywords lookthatup uses images to search for content in the lookthatup database. lookthatup works best on photos taken of flat objects such as paintings, game covers and movie posters.

The image will only be matched if it is in the database (see below).  You can also add your own lookups that were not matched to the database. That way, next time you, or someone else, takes a photo of the same thing, you will get a match.

What would you like to look up?

If your 'lookup' was not 'looked up' you can easily add it to the global lookthatup database, enabling other lookthatup users to get a result if they take a picture of the same thing. Learn more

New items are added to the database daily, you can add your own 'lookups' and suggest new sources to be added to the database. What would you like to look up?
