Just aim, shoot, share and bookmark. It's that easy.

How to use the lookthatup iPhone app

  1. Aim at the object you want to look up and touch anywhere on the screen to take a photo.
  2. If lookthatup recognizes the object, more information and a link to digital content will automatically display.
  3. Dots at the bottom of the screen? Scroll to see all results.
  4. Use the icons to share your 'lookup' or to bookmark on lookthatup.com.
  5. lookthatup may not recognize your 'lookup', but you can still share, bookmark and add to the lookthatup database.

Adding your own things to the lookthatup database

You can make your unrecognized 'lookups' recognizable in seconds - enabling yourself and other lookthatuppers to get a result next time the same thing is looked up.

1. Bookmark the unrecognized 'lookup' from your iPhone by tapping the lookthatup icon (get an account)
2. Log into your account on lookthatup.com and find the 'lookup' you want to make recognizable
3. Edit the 'lookup' - title and URL is required
4. Select 'add to global database' if you want to make the 'lookup' recognizable to other lookthatuppers too
5. Save and give it a try! Your 'lookup' should now be recognizable.

The more 'lookups' you add, the better lookthatup gets.
