Image-Seeker is enlisted by the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to fight child abuse

The U.S. Customs Service, Office of Investigations has investigated the trafficking of child pornography since the 1970s, and began investigating computer and Internet child pornography in the 1980s. On March 1, 2003, functions of several border and security agencies including the U.S. Customs Service, Federal Protective Service, and former Immigration and Naturalization Service were transferred into the Directorate of Border and Transportation Security within the Department of Homeland Security. As part of this transition, these agency functions were reorganized into the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
